Each spool of Aurifil, Monofilament, Invisible Nylon Thread holds 1094-yards (1000 meters). To get the best results when sewing, Aurifil recommends that you use a size 90/14 or 100/16 microtex/sharp, universal, or embroidery needle for everyday sewing, and a 4.0 needle when quilting with a longarm.
