U-CAN-SEW-Quilts
For Beginners
Ages: 8-14
4 2-1/2hr sessions
Fabric, Patterns, and specific items needed to create a quilt are included in the cost of the class. We will complete a quilt sampler finishing at approximately 40in. by 50in. Come on in and learn basic quilt blocks and how to incorporate them into a quilt.
Basic sewing supplies (thread, fabric scissors, tape measure, seam ripper, pin-tin, pins, ruler, marking pencil) are required for this class. Bring the supplies from U-CAN-SEW-1. Bring a snack and a drink if desired.
BONUS!!! - A 5th session to allow you to use a longarm to finish and bind your quilt. Bonus class is with Nancy D. and Jean I. Included in the price.
Parents are encouraged to participate!!!

Bring your functioning FULL SIZE household sewing machine, user manual, accessories - if you have one. Check that your machine works properly prior to bringing it to class. We have loaners if you need one at no extra charge.
Small beginner (child size) machines are not appropriate for this class.
